1. Home Depot/Sutherlands/etc.
   • Quick-setting cement: Pakmix Quick Set Cement, 4 10 lb buckets
   • Steel plates: 1" wide x 1/8" thick x 48" long, 2 lengths (96" total)
   • Brush & hand broom
   • Ratchet Strap: personal purchase for truck, etc.
   • Marking paint (black)
2. REI
   • Nalgene bottle for soap/etc.
   • Shasta book/maps
3. Bookstore
   • 2 field books (new): gives one spare
   • 2 floppy disks, for grav data backups
   • Scratch paper pads/notebooks
   • Sample bags(?)
4. Food store
   • breakfast: 20-24 instant oatmeal packets
   • lunch: 2-3 boxes of rye crisp; sausage; cheese
   • trail mix: a few pounds
   • dinner: Boilable cous-cous, tortillas, etc.; need 8 total
   • liquid and bar soap
